As a Safe Communities Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in helping tenants feel safer in their homes. Working as part of the Safe Communities Team, you'll support the delivery of services relating to anti-social behaviour (ASB), domestic abuse and safeguarding, ensuring all work is carried out in line with policy, procedure and service standards. Often acting as the first point of contact, you'll provide a victim-focused, empathetic response, triaging new reports quickly and efficiently while ensuring safeguarding is central to everything you do. Location: Based at any Bromford Flagship Livewest (East) office - Norwich, Dereham, Bury St Edmunds, Melton. (Please note, regular travel to other Flagship Offices will be required for team meetings, collaboration days and joint working)
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for tenants and victims reporting ASB or related concerns
* Manage and triage new ASB reports, ensuring timely and appropriate responses
* Complete DASH risk assessments and accurately record incident details
* Set up new cases and support case handlers with coordination and safety planning
* Provide additional victim care and support where required
* Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, reported and followed up promptly
* Support the management team with meetings, note-taking and project work
* Coordinate and track actions to help management understand team demand
* Work collaboratively with other Safe Communities Coordinators across different offices
* Occasionally attend community engagement events alongside the team
Qualifications
* Highly organised, empathetic, and confident working with vulnerable people in challenging situations
* Experience working in a busy, customer-facing environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to record-keeping
* Ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with tenants
* GCSE-level education (or equivalent)
* Confidence using Microsoft Office packages
* A qualification in ASB / community safety or a willingness to work towards one
* Flexibility to travel between Flagship offices as required
* Knowledge and experience across the social housing sector, particularly ASB, domestic abuse and safeguarding
