Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding team
Location: Bolton Council
Rate: £30 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available at a council in the Bolton area and they are looking for a new member for their Safeguarding Adult Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will prevent and protect those you support by being aware of the signs of abuse or neglect and responding to concerns appropriately. You will identify and work with individuals, their representatives, or Best Interest Assessors if they lack capacity, to achieve desired outcomes. You will integrate managing safeguarding risks and benefits into care planning and regularly review care plans. Additionally, you will coordinate safeguarding referrals, monitor their progress, and undertake safeguarding investigations within community and residential settings. You will also chair professional and formal meetings related to service users, such as multi-disciplinary meetings and case conferences. You will be maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant research, government guidance, legislation, and best practices is crucial. Finally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of adult services, providing oversight and support to other professionals.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you must hold a Social Work England registration and are eligible to work in the UK. You must possess a full UK driving licence and have post-qualified experience. Additionally, you should have a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
