Junior Quality Engineer
Location: Bedlington, Northumberland

We at JKR are recruiting a brand-new, exciting position for a global manufacturing company.
Our client has a vacancy for a Junior Quality Engineer. This new role is required to play a pivotal role in the development of quality systems. This is a full-time, site-based role.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with other departments and take a proactive approach to ensure business unit systems are maintained and continually improved.
* Drive non‑conformances to closure, to prevent recurrence and adherence to the quality audit schedules.
* Providing support for internal auditors to ensure the level of audit capability within the business.
* Host / support customer and accreditation audits conducted on site.
Core Requirements
* Exposure as a quality auditor.
* Familiar with the requirement of quality standards ISO 9001 or AS9100.
* Competent in the use of MS Office.
* Competent oral and written communicator.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Previous quality or systems engineer experience.
* Experience of using quality tools (FMEA, Risk Assessment, Design Experiments etc).
* Knowledge of PPAP, APQC.
* Knowledge of Q Pulse software.
* Knowledge of SPC techniques.
Working Hours and Benefits
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30, Friday: 08:00 – 13:00.
