Offer description

If you would like to arrange an informal discussion regarding the role, please contact Tom on 07923164024. As a Link Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have recently moved into our temporary accommodation. Many of these individuals face complex challenges and will need intensive, wrap-around support - not only with their housing needs but also with overcoming barriers that may prevent them from leading more stable and positive lives. In this role, you will carry out a range of outreach activities to engage with both community members and local partners, including voluntary groups, community organisations, and statutory services. Your goal will be to strengthen referral pathways and improve access to local services and activities. You will also accompany and support individuals to attend events and groups that promote physical activity, boost self-esteem and happiness, and support their recovery journey. Working closely within the communities we support, you will collaborate with our property and maintenance teams, as well as landlords and letting agents, to maintain positive relationships and promote community cohesion. Through one-to-one, intensive support, you will help people build meaningful connections with their neighbours and local community, always working in a person-centred, flexible way that reflects the values and principles of P3.
