Brief Description
Compensation Assistant
Join the team as a Compensation Assistant! This is a permanent opportunity and is to deliver passenger and freight Schedule 4 compensation calculations and forecasts.
Location: The Quadrant – Milton Keynes Contract: P ermanent Hours: Monday to Friday full-time (35 hrs per week) 3 days a week in the office. Salary: £26,936.00
About The Role (External)
The role and responsibilities:
Produce nominated Schedule 4 statements (passenger & freight) and period end billing on time and to a high level of content accuracy. Administrate the S4CS system and associated data quality for relevant contracts. Assist in managing effective relationships with customers and stakeholders. Produce and maintain timely and accurate Schedule 4 forecasts and estimates for relevant contracts. Assist in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
What would make the ideal candidate?
High level of numeracy. Good communication skills. Able to work under pressure and to deadlines. Detailed working knowledge of relevant compensation and planning processes. Detailed working knowledge of relevant compensation systems. Good working knowledge of relevant planning systems. Basic understanding of Track Access Conditions. Basic understanding of relevant content of Network Code. Good knowledge of relevant railway geography and terminology. Basic understanding of railway engineering activities.
