Overview
University of Warwick is seeking a Careers Coach to support WBS students with career development, one-to-one coaching (face to face and online), and the design and delivery of group workshops/webinars. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
About The Role
We are strengthening our WBS CareersPlus team with the appointment of an enthusiastic, reliable, proactive, and experienced Careers Coach to support the career development of our students. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one coaching, run group sessions, provide e-guidance, and be the first point of contact for student queries.
About You
With a proven track record in graduate/experienced hire recruitment and development or a HE careers service, applicants should be excellent communicators with credibility, energy, and flexibility to work with a dynamic and diverse caseload. Ability to work on own initiative to deliver innovative programmes and collaborate with the Employer Relations team is essential. Opportunities to lead bespoke projects will exist; tenacity, drive, pro-activity and strong work ethic are required. For more details, see the personal specification in the attached job description.
About The Department
The WBS CareersPlus & Employer Relations department provides faculty-based careers management and professional development across our student portfolio (Undergraduates, Masters, and MBA) with ongoing engagement with our global alumni community. Our team of 30+ staff works with WBS faculty, corporate partners and programme management to ensure services meet global recruiter needs and integrate with academic delivery.
