Role Summary
Following the promotion of the current deputy to the role of Headteacher at Ysgol Y Strade, the Governing Body is keen to appoint a Deputy Head to co‑lead the school into the future during an exciting period in the school’s history.
The successful candidate will possess vision and ambition and be an outstanding and passionate educator. They will be able to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders while setting a positive example for staff and students.
Essential requirements: fluent communication in both Welsh and English, orally and in writing, and a clear commitment to working in a Welsh‑medium school.

Qualifications & Requirements
DBS: Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
The role requires applicants to be legally allowed to work in the United Kingdom.
Welsh Language Level – Verbal
Level 5 – must be able to communicate fluently in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
