Job Overview:A long‑term assignment supporting a Wintel desktop environment, providing deskside incident and request support across a secureernment site in Stevenage. This role involves laptop/desktop builds, troubleshooting, hardware repairs, user support, and routine technical operations within an SC‑cleared environment.• Location: On‑site – Stevenage, SG1 2DA• Daily Rate: £ per hour (PAYE) OR £ per hour (Umbrella)• Contract Length: 23 Feb 2026 – 26 Feb 2027• Start Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities:• Deliver deskside and walk‑up support across a Wintel environment
• Manage incidents and service requests via ITSM tools
• Build, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and HP hardware
• Perform hardware repairs on laptops and desktops
• Support Windows 10/11, MS Office Suite, Teams, and Skype
• Assist users with Apple and Android mobile devices
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and documentationKey Requirements:• Previous Tech Bar / walk‑up support experience
• Strong Microsoft Windows (10/11) support background
• Proficiency with AD, O365, Teams, Skype, and ITSM tools
• Skilled in hardware diagnostics, repairs, and device imaging
• ACTIVE SC Clearance (mandatory)
• Must have a British Passport & be Born in the UK (for higher‑level vetting)
