Art & Design Technology Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)Location: Bexley | Secondary Schools

The Role:As an Art & DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting both staff and students across the Art and Design Technology departments. You will be responsible for preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment for Art and DT lessons
* Maintain and organise workshops, studios, and storage areas
* Ensure all tools and machinery are used safely and in line with health and safety regulations
* Support teachers during practical sessions when required
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
* Carry out basic maintenance and repairs of equipment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as an Art and/or DT Technician in a school setting
* Strong subject knowledge across Art and Design Technology
* A relevant degree is preferred
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach
* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a workshop/studio environment
