A bit about the job: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Application Modernisation & Strategy to lead our efforts in optimising our Cloud applications and streamlining our technologies. This role is pivotal in ensuring our technology is agile, efficient, and future-ready. Lead strategy and execution of application modernisation and rationalisation initiatives Simplify and optimise existing cloud applications to enhance performance and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for cloud architecture Drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with standards and security protocols, and foster innovation in cloud technologies Mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers and architects while staying abreast of emerging trends in cloud computing Skills and experience we're looking for: Proven experience in cloud application modernisation and simplification Strong leadership and engineering skills Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
