Trainee Anaesthetic Nurse
NHS AfC: Band 5
Job overview
Full time 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Trainee Anaesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic, friendly and forward thinking team.
We are currently recruiting qualified nurses with a minimum of 12 months theatre experience to work in our theatre department and attend Bolton University to complete the anaesthetic module over a 6 month period. Our department offers a wide range of specialities including general surgery, trauma and elective orthopaedics, oncoplastic breast, gynaecology, obstetrics, ENT and oral maxillofacial surgery.
The Trust appreciates and values the contribution international nurses bring to the NHS. We also understand the support overseas nurses need to gain full registration once in the UK (via OSCE) and therefore we only recruit internationally to fill nursing vacancies when we can ensure support is in place. At this present time we aren’t in a position to offer that support and therefore will not accept applications from overseas nurses who only have Part 1 NMC registration. If that position changes in future we will clearly advertise our opportunities for international nurses to join our nurse team here in Bolton. Thank you for your understanding.
Main duties of the job

You will be highly motivated with a can do attitude and will join an innovative and pro-active team to provide safe, clean and personal care using evidence based practice. You will be a registered nurse with current NMC registration.
