Salary
Circa £65,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working
4 - 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

The opportunity:
We're seeking a driven leader to be accountable for the safe and continued operation of EE&F test equipment and calibration activities. The M&C Facilities team leader will manage a multi-disciplinary team that spans maintenance, calibration, fixture design and lab support.
In this leadership role, you will:
* Be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of EE&F test equipment within world-class laboratories at Stevenage and Henlow
* Work alongside Facilities Management (FM) to maintain building infrastructure and lab facilities, including management of external contractors and servicing
* Lead a team (typically 7-8 engineers), managing resources, risks and budgets
* Gain experience of working alongside a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Drive process improvements and support the Head of M&C Test in developing capabilities
* Support H&S Manager / Quality Lead to ensure process and equipment compliance
You’ll bring strong project management expertise, a solid understanding of test equipment and the ability to guide a team in a fast-paced engineering environment.
What we’re looking for from you:
Essential
* Strong technical background in maintenance of test equipment and facilities
* Experience of maintenance and service contracts
* Effective planning & project management
* Effective leadership skills (interpersonal and influencing)
* Ability to develop and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders
* Understanding of wider project and company strategy
Desirable
* Knowledgeable of the test methods used to perform environmental tests (vibration, shock, thermal, humidity, low pressure etc.)
* Experience of supporting capex process
* Experiences with calibration processes
* Health & Safety background
