Job Description
The Commissioning (Cx) Owner’s Representative will support the Design & Construction and the EHSQ team’s mission to deliver data centre space. ORs will work with onsite PM, Operations POC, and General Contractor teams at construction sites to implement the Cx Program in alignment with new Program initiatives. The ORs are active managers on site for the Cx Program, supporting PMs and Operations with quality leadership.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the site PM in successfully delivering the project by ensuring compliance with the Cx program at various Cx stage gates and key project milestones.
2. Managing the CxA to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and correctly.
3. Acting as an on-site point of contact for the CxA and the GC Cx Managers (technical and process).
4. Coordinating the transition between different project stages and advising the GC on equipment delivery sequences to meet turnover requirements.
5. Coordinating deferred Cx testing and assisting with Cx-related warranty items.
6. Monitoring Cx progress and achievements, including checklist completion, issue management, and NCR status, to ensure key milestones are met.
