YOUR IMPACT
We are searching for a recent graduate in any discipline available to start work as soon as possible. As a new analyst, you will learn about our businesses, develop important relationships, and build career-enhancing skills. Sitting within the Legal Division in Birmingham, you will support professionals within the Corporate Governance and Treasury Legal teams, both in the UK and throughout EMEA. The Corporate Governance Legal team provide support to the wide range of Goldman Sachs' regulated and unregulated legal entities and the Treasury Legal team advises on all aspects of the firm's liquidity and funding strategy. The role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Goldman Sachs continues to build out its presence in Birmingham, so you will join a growing highly-skilled Legal team in a world-class workplace, focused on collaboration, productivity and sustainability, which the firm moved to in September 2024.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES
* Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Strong organisational skills, coupled with great attention to detail.
* Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Thinks ahead, anticipates questions, plans for contingencies, finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectives
* Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up and judgment
* Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events and prioritize.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams, think proactively about what needs to be done, meet deadlines and manage stakeholders.
* Team player with a positive attitude. Respectful and able to build relationships
* Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion required with the ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential information with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
* Ability to think innovatively
