We are seeking an Advanced Specialist Practitioner to join our team in Colorectal Surgery. Main duties of the job
* Provide multidisciplinary care for colorectal patients, managing both elective and emergency cases from assessment to recovery.
* Make critical clinical decisions using advanced expertise, supported by a portfolio of evidence and MSc qualification.
* Lead quality improvement initiatives, ensure guideline adherence, and supervise colleagues.
* Drive research and audit activities, contribute to clinical governance, and participate in reviews and strategic meetings.

Person specification
Knowledge & Experience
* Motivated practitioner with extensive experience in relevant clinical settings.
* Broad knowledge of clinical pathophysiology and diagnostic procedures.
* Experience in colorectal conditions and management, leadership, and service improvement.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting pressures.
* Experience in clinical research, audit, and multiple clinical areas.
Qualifications & Education
* Professional clinical qualification or working towards a specialist qualification.
* Non-medical Prescribing Qualification (if applicable).
* BSc in relevant field, MSc in advanced clinical practice, and evidence of CPD.
* Teaching and Leadership/Management qualifications or willingness to undertake.
