1. Key Responsibilities Manage low-risk and low/medium-value procurement processes across a range of goods and services. Collaborate with commissioners to develop and finalise service specifications. Lead mini-competitions through national and local framework agreements. Support Senior Procurement Officers on high-value (above OJEU threshold) procurements. Provide guidance on procurement best practices and ensure compliance with legislation. Monitor and report on supplier and category spend to inform strategic decisions. Conduct market research and benchmarking to support category strategies. Resolve supplier and customer queries efficiently and professionally. Administer procurement-related processes within the Business Management System (BMS). Contribute to procurement improvement initiatives, including developing standards and strategies. Engage in continuous professional development, including CIPS or equivalent training.
