Rent and Service Charge Assistant | Permanent | £28,000 - £30,000 | Hybrid | Lancashire
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable Housing Association in the Lancashire area who are looking to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Assistant to their busy finance team. The role is offered on a permanent basis, with hybrid working and a great benefits package.
Duties:
* Responsible for calculating the annual rent increases, ensuring they remain inline with tenancy agreements and regulations
* Assist with the preparation of annual service charge budgets and with quarterly forecasts
* Process weekly rent debit and prepare reconciliations
* Accurately record service charge, rents and leases
* Produce occasional reports as and when required and assist with audit
Experience:
* Experience working in social housing
* Experience/knowledge of rent and service charge
* Strong attention to detail and able to work analytically
* Great technical ability and excellent excel skills
