Job Overview
Steward is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Waiter to join our team at our Benaulim, Colva location. As a fresher-level position, it is ideal for those with 0 to 1 year of work experience looking to grow in the hospitality industry. This is a full-time role that requires passion and an eagerness to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
* Food and Beverage Knowledge (Mandatory skill) for understanding menu items and providing recommendations to guests.
* Customer Service skills to ensure every guest has a positive and memorable dining experience.
* Strong Attention to Detail to maintain the quality and presentation of the dining area and dishes served.
* Teamwork capabilities to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other waiters for seamless service.
* Problem Solving skills to handle unexpected situations and guest complaints with ease and professionalism.
* Time Management skills to efficiently manage tables, orders, and maintain customer satisfaction.
* Adaptability to quickly adjust to varying guest requirements and dynamic work environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Greet and escort customers to their tables with a welcoming and friendly demeanor.
* Present menus and provide detailed information when asked, including recommending food and drinks.
* Take accurate food and drinks orders using order slips or a POS system.
* Ensure all orders are delivered to the guests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Regularly check in with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas throughout shift.
* Perform side duties at the beginning and end of each shift.
* Collaborate with other staff and kitchen team to ensure guests are provided with seamless service.
