This Graduate Sales & Business Management Trainee position offers a hands-on introduction to business operations, customer management, and professional sales, giving you the tools and experience to progress to management in the future.

What You\'ll Be Doing
1. First 6 months - Learn the business and start selling
o Gain an understanding of all key business areas, including logistics, supply chain, operations, marketing, and administration
o Get hands-on experience with a wide range of products and suppliers in the electrical distribution industry
o Serve trade customers face-to-face, providing advice and solutions to electricians, contractors, and other professionals
o Begin structured sales training and complete development modules with financial incentives for each milestone achieved
2. 6-12 months - Build your sales career
o Progress into internal sales and account management
o Develop business relationships with a range of B2B clients, such as construction firms, local authorities, and housing developers
o Learn how to identify opportunities, grow existing accounts, and win new business
3. 12 months and beyond - Step into management
o Move into a field-based sales management role with greater responsibility and earning potential
o Manage your own client portfolio, travel locally to meetings, and begin learning about running a business unit
o Gain experience in staff management, purchasing, and financial performance, preparing you for future leadership roles
