Hours of work: 35 per week
Working pattern: Full-time, Term-time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6.2 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a School Administration Support Assistant. You will ideally have experience of working in a school office or similar role.
The candidate will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: day-to-day tasks including updating registers; answering inbound queries; making outbound phone calls; parent liaison; safeguarding concerns and medical issues; ensuring school systems are up to date and information is uploaded accurately and ensuring administration tasks and paperwork are completed efficiently and effectively, whilst maintaining a high quality of work.
This is a permanent vacancy for 35 hours per week, term-time only (including INSET days), starting as soon as possible.
We are a one form entry Catholic primary school and the children are at the very centre of everything we do.
We are looking for someone who:
* Can communicate messages to and from parents. Pass messages on to the appropriate staff or children, direct all calls to and from outside agencies
* Is able to be a First Aider, administering medication, responding to children's needs and being responsible for ensuring first aid equipment is kept up to date and fully stocked (training will be provided)
* Will deal with all confidential matters with tact and discretion
* Can establish positive, professional relationships with parents, staff and children
* Has great organisational skills and is able to work in a calm and efficient way
