Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Manager, based in West Sussex. The Technical Manager will oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing technical support, leading research and development projects for new products, analyzing production processes for enhancements, and coordinating cross-functional teams. The role requires effective team management and project oversight to uphold high operational standards and deliver exceptional products to our clients.
Qualifications
* Strong Analytical Skills for process evaluation, problem-solving, and decision-making
* Proven Team Management experience, with the ability to guide and motivate staff
* Proficiency in Technical Support to address production challenges and maintain operational efficiency
* Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for product innovation and improvement
* Competency in Project Management, including planning, execution, and completion of technical initiatives
* Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., BRC certification)
* Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
