You know how engineering works, you know how buyers think, and you’re happiest when you’re out winning business, not stuck behind a desk.</p><p>This is a <b>hands-on technical sales role</b> with a well-established SME that’s ready to grow fast over the next 3–5 years — and they want someone local who can help drive it.</p><p><b>If you live within roughly 50 miles of Rugby (CV22)</b> and you’ve sold <b>bespoke engineering solutions (not catalogue products)</b>, this one’s for you.</p><h3>The Role (No corporate fluff)</h3><ul><li><b>70% new business / 30% account management</b></li><li>Selling <b>high-value, bespoke mechanical / engineering solutions</b></li><li>Deal sizes typically <b>£30k – £200k</b></li><li>Customers across <b>manufacturing, automotive, construction & engineering</b></li><li>Field-based, Midlands-focused, with Warwickshire HQ</li><li>You’ll own the full sales cycle: win it, grow it, develop it</li></ul><p>This is about <b>revenue generation</b>, smart prospecting, and then turning new wins into long-term, profitable accounts.</p><h3>What’s on Offer:</h3><ul><li><b>Up to £65,000 basic</b></li><li><b>Company car or car allowance + fuel card</b></li><li><b>Uncapped bonus & commission</b></li></ul><p>(£20,000 OTE on all revenue)</p><ul><li><b>25 days holiday + bank holidays</b></li><li>Clear progression — <b>build a team OR stay senior and earn</b></li><li>Start date: <b>Feb or March 2026</b></li></ul><p>No nonsense. Real autonomy.</p><h3>Who This Will Suit</h3><p>You’ll probably tick most of these:</p><ul><li><b>5+ years selling technical / engineering solutions</b> in the UK</li><li>Comfortable selling into <b>manufacturing, automotive or construction</b></li><li>Strong <b>new business hunter mentality</b>, but happy growing accounts too</li><li>Used to <b>field sales</b> and managing your own patch</li><li>Can talk confidently about:</li><li>Who you sell to</li><li>What problems you solve</li><li>Where you’ve won business before</li><li>Engineering or mechanical qualification is a <b>nice bonus</b>, not essential.</li></ul><h3>Most importantly — you’re:</h3><ul><li>Down to earth</li><li>Commercially sharp</li><li>Self-motivated</li><li>Comfortable dealing with engineers, buyers and decision-makers.</li></ul><h3>Why This Role?</h3><p>This is a <b>stable, established business</b> with a strong reputation — not a start-up, not corporate red tape.
