We’re looking for flexible and confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Gloucester. This role is perfect if you enjoy working with young people, want to make a difference in education, and prefer the freedom of flexible, part-time or ad hoc work.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in when teachers are absent, making sure pre-prepared lesson plans are delivered and pupils remain engaged in their learning. You don’t need to be a qualified teacher, just someone with great communication skills, confidence in the classroom, and a calm, positive approach.
About you
You’ll bring:
* Experience working with young people (in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
* Strong behaviour management and the ability to engage a class
* Flexibility to work across a range of subjects and year groups
* Confidence to deliver set lesson plans and keep pupils on track
* A genuine interest in supporting education and young people’s development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
