Hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 40% (or two days) in one of our office locations.
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our teams across multiple platforms. Your day will involve advanced testing, automation, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Drive advanced software testing techniques using risk-based testing approaches.
* Develop, maintain, and extend robust automation suites in Java, Typescript, or Python with the LBG automation framework.
* Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
* Apply the Automation Test Strategy to applications under test.
* Perform exploratory testing and design/executing complex non-functional tests.
* Create, execute, and report test cases via an API using the LBG test management system.
* Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within multi-skilled teams.
* Create or accurately request complex test data, considering referential integrity and metadata.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Pytest, JUnit, Appium, RestAssured).
* Proficiency in Python, Typescript, and Java, with experience in REST API development and microservice architectures.
* Hands‑on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and source control (Git, GitHub).
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
* Experience with exploratory, functional, non-functional, and accessibility testing.
* Managing test data and environments.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and tools such as Docker, BigQuery, and dataflow is an advantage.
