The Opportunity
A high-growth, Private Equity-backed international consumer services organisation is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner / Senior Management Accountant to join its dynamic London-based team.
With a turnover of approximately £150m and EBITDA of £50m, the business has achieved consistent year-on-year growth through a combination of strategic M&A and strong organic performance. Backed by an ambitious investment strategy and a clear value creation plan, the organisation is now positioning itself for a successful exit within the next two years, either via IPO or a secondary Private Equity transaction.
The Role
This is a pivotal role within a key, high-performing division of the group. The successful candidate will work closely with the Divisional Managing Director and senior stakeholders, playing a critical role in driving financial insight, performance, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner directly with the Managing Director and operational leadership to support strategic and commercial decision-making
* Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring clarity and integrity of financial data
* Produce high-quality management information (MI), reporting packs, and insightful analysis for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for the division
* Drive continuous improvement in reporting, processes, and financial controls
* Interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights
* Support group-level initiatives, including integration of acquisitions and preparation for exit
The Requirements
* Professionally qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong technical grounding in management accounting and financial reporting
* Proven experience operating within a high-growth environment; exposure to Private Equity-backed businesses is highly desirable
* Experience working across international entities, including multi-currency environments and diverse stakeholder groups, is strongly preferred
* Demonstrated ability to act as a true Finance Business Partner, influencing and challenging senior non-finance stakeholders
* Hands-on, proactive approach with a willingness to “roll up sleeves” and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively
