Cedars House is a well-established 12-bed home supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities. The home features a large private garden, accessible living spaces, and a warm, sociable environment with engaging activities, trips, and outings. Residents benefit from in-house therapies including massage, physiotherapy, and speech & language support, along with visits from dietitians and epilepsy specialists. Local day centres offer additional opportunities for physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and arts & crafts. Cedars also has two adapted buses to support local trips and outings.
To thrive in this role, you will be flexible, working shifts that include weekends, bank holidays, and potential sleep-ins, while providing practical and emotional support to help residents live their best lives.

Senior Wake Night Support Worker – Barnet, Greater London
Salary: £13.82 per hour | Hours: 37.5 per week (24/7 rota) | Holidays: 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day delivery of care and household activities
* Ensure service users’ welfare, safety, and participation in daily routines
* Act as case coordinator and update person-centred support plans
* Participate in recruitment, staff supervision, appraisals, and coaching
* Maintain accurate records and reports for staff and service users
* Ensure compliance with legislation, Care Standards, and company policies
About You
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
* Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, or challenging behaviour
* Calm, resilient, and confident working alone or in a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Passionate about empowering vulnerable adults and promoting high safeguarding standards
