History & Politics Lecturer
* Location: Northwest London
* Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
* Salary: £30 to £35 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated History & Politics Lecturer to join our clients educational team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality education in the fields of history and politics, and who thrives in an academic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in history and politics to students at various levels of higher education.
* Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
* Assess students' progress by grading papers, exams, and other work.
* Stay updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources and methods.
* Provide support and guidance to students during office hours.
* Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A Master's degree in History, Politics, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a lecturer or teacher in these subjects.
* A Level 5 Teaching Qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
