Dual Service Manager – Adults Mental Health
Permanent, full time role with generous benefits. Covering services across Bolton and Blackpool.
About the role
Oversee two services for adults with mental health issues within supported living services, leading and supporting the teams in effective delivery of care and support. One service in Bolton and the other in Blackpool.
The role ensures safe and effective support for adults with mental health issues, including self‑harmers. Duties include:
* Supervise and support a team of support staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
* Ensure safeguarding procedures are rigorously followed, safeguarding vulnerable adults at all times.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation, including care records, incident reports, and compliance audits.
* Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability of the service.
* Work full time, Monday to Friday with flexibility where needed; on‑call duties 1 in 9 weeks.
About you
* Significant experience working within services for adults with mental health issues and learning disability.
* Strong leadership abilities, able to lead from the front and empower teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
* Level 4 or 5 Leadership & Management qualification or working towards it, and minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care.
* Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
* Flexible to travel across two services in Blackpool and Bolton and to manage time effectively across both.
* Car driver with access to your own vehicle.
* Passionate to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people with a calm and positive approach.
Benefits
* Competitive salary of £36,000 rising to £40,000 after probation.
* 210 hours per year annual leave, rising by 7.5 hours each year up to 5 years.
