The Role
As a Source to Contract Manager, you’ll lead strategic procurement initiatives that deliver real value to our business and customers. You’ll be at the heart of shaping our five-year Procurement & Supply Chain strategy, building strong relationships across sectors, and driving operational excellence. This is a role where your expertise will make a tangible impact on national security and your career growth.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
1. Leading Procurement & Supply Chain performance and delivering on our five-year strategy.
2. Managing and directing procurement operations across Mission Systems.
3. Driving delivery of benefit and savings targets for the business.
4. Collating and presenting performance reports for Group and Sector leadership.
5. Championing process standardisation and acting as Coupa lead for Group P&SC.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Source to Contract Manager
6. Significant procurement experience, ideally in a project procurement environment, including management experience.
7. Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
8. Flexible approach to workload and ability to operate at all levels.
9. Self-motivated with proven ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
10. Hands-on experience with Power BI, IFS, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications for the Source to Contract Manager
11. Degree-level qualification and/or relevant engineering, supply chain, or lean culture experience.
12. Membership of a professional body such as CIPS Level 5 or above (advantageous but not essential).
