What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like? * Assist with monthly financial control processes such as journal preparation and spreadsheet validation. * Support the preparation of monthly management and financial accounts. * Take ownership of assigned balance sheet reconciliations. * Contribute to cost reduction activities, ensuring alignment across departments and accurate reflection in financial reporting. * Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley self-assessment audits and related documentation. * Collaborate with programmes, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to support the creation of financial bid models. * Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and project support as required. What will you bring to the role? Essential skills: * Currently studying towards a degree in Finance, Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field. * On track to achieve a 2:1 or above. * A strong interest in pursuing a career within Finance. * Ability to build positive relationships and work effectively within a team. * Flexible, calm under pressure, and adaptable to change. * Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Desirable skills: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proactive mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges. * Good understanding of financial principles and business processes.
