Central Reservations Agent - London
Salary up to £30,000 per annum
We are looking for a Reservations agent to join our dynamic and growing organisation.
Working alongside the wider team, you’ll be responsible for managing reservations across all of our UK & Ireland properties
We are looking for an exceptional communicator that has great attention to detail and customer service.
Working closely with our reservations team and property managers and other partners, you will be tasked with optimising occupancy rates, whilst ensuring world class customer-service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Creating reservations and input via both email and phone in accordance
* with our brand standards, while demonstrating excellent product
* knowledge.
* Utilization of Sales CRM (Salesforce) to input enquiry details for bookings,
* and extensions, and chase quotations to convert to meet team targets.
* Understanding the client and quests needs, and upsell where possible, by
* displaying a positive and professional attitude, to increase direct bookings.
* Daily reservation and pre-arrival checks to ensure accuracy of
* pricing, and ensure all information and data in the PMS is accurate.
* Adapt to our strategic pricing and yield management techniques, to aid
* optimizing room rates and drive revenue growth across the portfolio.
* Accurate and timely responses to guests, clients and agents in line with
* our brand standards.
* Support with group reservation handling, from the initial stage of enquiry,
* to check out and handover all information to our team on-site at each property.
* Daily agent invoicing and commission checks.
* Management of rooms timeline, which involves controlling inventory and
* availability to ensure maximum availability and sell through.
* Strong knowledge of our product; rooms, features, amenities, rates and
* cancellation terms.
* Completing other projects when and if required within the Reservations
* Department.
The ideal candidate:
* Must have a positive, can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
* Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Must be fluent in English.
* Be enthusiastic to deliver outstanding levels of guest and agent service.
* Must be able to multi-task and have a high level of attention to detail.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
