Overview
An OFSTED "Good" rated primary school in Batley requires a Behaviour and Social Inclusion Worker to start as soon as possible. This is a rare opportunity to work with children who may have SEMH challenges, and the role will be centred around the well-being and development of primary-aged children. The school is looking for someone committed to developing a team approach, working with parents, teachers, support staff and the wider community.
You should have an enthusiastic and passionate approach to the development of children and other staff where appropriate, with a keen desire for ongoing personal development to enhance your own skills. You should be able to act on your own initiative, plan and manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, and be responsive to unplanned circumstances, emergencies and varying needs.

Responsibilities
* Support the well-being and development of primary-aged children, including those who may struggle with SEMH.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, support staff and the wider community to create a supportive learning environment.
* Act with initiative, plan and manage your workload, and prioritise in response to emergencies and changing needs.
* Contribute to a team-focused approach aimed at continuous improvement and high standards.
