Salary: £26,600 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 42.5 Hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Outdoor Education Instructor to join our team at Oak Tree School in Truro.
About the role
Assist in planning and delivering quality Outdoor Education tailored to the needs of students at Oak Tree School. Ensure quality outcomes and promote the welfare and safeguarding of pupils. Work independently and as part of a small team.
Main Duties:
There are five main aspects of this role, including:
1. Assist in auditing the existing Outdoor Education team and provision.
2. Develop medium and long-term plans to ensure a broad skill set among instructors and a quality Outdoor Education program.
3. Collaborate with class teachers to develop cross-curricular links.
4. Attend team meetings to discuss plans, equipment, training, and resources.
5. Deliver group and 1:1 outdoor sessions as appropriate.
6. Build and maintain relationships with external providers like climbing walls and water sport centres.
