Description

We’re looking for a senior regulatory risk specialist to own and lead our global regulatory risk coverage. You will produce authoritative, data-driven analysis for a sophisticated legal and compliance audience, combining unique coverage, deep expertise, and exclusive market insight.

You’ll be the externally recognised editorial voice on regulatory risk and intelligence, with a visible presence at internal and external events, and a strong network of senior contacts.

You’ll also shape the regulatory risk content strategy using audience engagement data and client feedback to ensure the content is credible and highly sought after by an existing and prospective audience.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a defining role for fast-growing, innovative intelligence platforms, relied on by leading organisations around the world to understand, anticipate, and manage regulatory risk. Your work will directly inform how senior legal and compliance leaders assess risk, make strategic decisions, and respond to regulatory change across markets.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and cover the most significant regulatory risk trends globally, producing high-impact, data-driven specialist content for a sophisticated legal and compliance audience.
* Produce and deliver complex, high-value content at pace, including deep-dives, forward-looking risk analysis, data-led explainers, and exclusive content generated through unique coverage and a strong network of market sources.
* Leverage an established book of senior-level industry expert contacts to generate exclusive insight, validate analysis, and strengthen the depth and credibility of coverage. The content and analysis should be highly sought after by current and prospective audiences.
* Be the externally recognised market expert and leading editorial voice for regulatory risk and intelligence, with a visible presence at internal and external events.
* Use audience engagement data and client feedback to shape coverage priorities and to feed the broader audience strategy.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective clients, developing a deep understanding of their regulatory monitoring and analysis needs, and feeding those insights directly into content, product and audience strategy.
* Work confidently with data for in-depth analysis and storytelling, using structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends and support coverage.
* Collaborate closely with the Data Intelligence Unit to identify gaps in internal datasets and scope and source external data and intelligence to evolve the regulatory risk offering over time.
* Support and influence the wider editorial team’s planning, sharing subject-matter expertise, helping shape coverage, and contributing to a consistent, high-quality regulatory risk content stream.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Required experience

* Minimum 7 years’ experience in regulatory risk and intelligence, or related field.
* Experienced in writing or editing regulatory content for a professional audience (journals, data platforms, or legal research publications).
* An established book of senior-level industry contacts.
* Prior experience working with tech-enabled regulatory monitoring tools.
* Confident and experienced with using large datasets and insights for in-depth and cross-jurisdictional analysis.
* A deep understanding and knowledge of compliance and risk functions within corporates.
* Detailed knowledge of regulatory risk management and governance frameworks.

Skills

* Critical thinking: the ability to objectively analyse and evaluate data to make informed decisions and develop content offering.
