Key Responsibilities
* Desktop computer assembly
* Experience of Microsoft Windows and Office package
* Supporting a business network
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
* Interact with staff at all levels of the business
* Work in a busy medium size business with offices in London, Hong Kong and the US
* 2 to 3 years of first-line support experience on the Windows platform
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Front-line support – answering calls and emails from staff and providing initial guidance
* Logging issues in the service desk and updating end users regularly
* Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers on complex problems before escalation to the System Administrator
* Maintain IT team documentation with the IT manager
* Test IT services in meeting rooms and pool equipment
* Ensure desks have fully functional IT equipment
* Physical assembly of new computers and IT equipment, including network cabling
* User induction and training on Microsoft and third-party products
* Primary applications supported:
o MS 365 Office suite
o Office 365 Services such as SharePoint
o Windows 10 and 11
o Active Directory
o Azure
o MS Edge / Chrome
o File Servers
o Office 365 Exchange
o Office 365 SharePoint
o Office 365 MS Teams
* Basic printing support
* First and second-line support for users in HK, Australia, India, the UK and the US
* Project-based work in coordination with the Infrastructure Engineer and Head of IT
* Nice to have: CompTIA A+, Network+, Windows or MS 365, CCNA qualifications
