Our client, a successful and inclusive academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Humanities ECT to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to gain experience within a dynamic department and grow in a school that values curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.
About the Role:
* Teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, or RE) at KS3 and potentially KS4, depending on specialism
* Creating engaging, inclusive, and thought-provoking lessons
* Working collaboratively with a well-established and experienced Humanities team
* Participating in a structured ECT induction programme with strong mentoring support
* Access to high-quality CPD and career development opportunities
About You:
* A qualified Humanities teacher (or due to qualify by July 2025)
* Passionate about your subject and committed to inspiring young minds
