Key responsibilities include: Maintenance, overhaul, repair and modification of rolling stock and traction Testing and commissioning activities across the UK fleet Supporting defect, fault and incident investigations Managing and maintaining accurate technical, performance and reliability records Monitoring asset condition, spares, parts, tooling and obsolescence Supporting maintenance suppliers and contract interfaces Providing technical support during operational disruption or incidents Representing the business at supplier, customer and industry meetings Participating in an engineering on-call rota What we are looking for: ONC / HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline Proven experience with traction and rolling stock Understanding of rail maintenance planning and control Strong technical reporting and documentation skills Comfortable working with rail systems and MS Office Willingness to travel and work away from home when required Full UK driving licence Understanding of rail engineering standards and practices Rail systems knowledge such as TOPS, R2, RSL or Genius is highly advantageous.
