Enterprise Architect – Contract 6 months | Outside IR35 | Hybrid - Gloucester | Competitive day rate A leading organisation is embarking on a major M&A programme and is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in the integration of services, technologies, and data. This is a hands-on contract position where you’ll shape and deliver architecture across the full lifecycle. The Role Lead enterprise architecture for post-acquisition integration. Define and govern the target architecture to support business and technology alignment. Oversee migration of applications, infrastructure, and data to ensure stability and scalability. Work with stakeholders across business, technology, and suppliers to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide architectural oversight across transformation activities and ensure integration meets security, compliance, and operational standards. What we’re looking for Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect in large-scale integration programmes. Strong experience in M&A scenarios: service integration, systems consolidation, and data migration. Breadth across applications, infrastructure, and data domains. Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate business objectives into technology solutions. Strong governance and documentation capability, with a pragmatic approach to delivery.
