We are searching for an Aerospace Underwriter to form a key part of this team. In this role, you will help drive the growth of our aerospace portfolio with key brokers and clients, while maintaining and developing a portfolio of existing accounts. Key Responsibilities: Underwrite new business and renewals in line with Chubb’s underwriting guidelines, budget, and local business plan. Build, maintain, and develop a robust portfolio of existing and new aerospace accounts. Represent and promote the Chubb brand to brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders—acting as a true ambassador for our business. Collaborate with colleagues to shape underwriting strategy, forecasts, and portfolio management to achieve profitability targets. Deliver exceptional service to clients and internal business partners, ensuring Chubb’s reputation for quality and reliability is upheld. Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams and external partners to foster a culture of collaboration and shared success. Qualifications Skills and Experience: 18 months of aviation (underwriting/broking) or relevant market experience. Strong understanding of the insurance market, with a proven track record of working with brokers and clients. Results-driven, with the confidence to make decisions and work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Committed to delivering high-quality service to clients and colleagues. ACII qualification (or working towards) preferred, but not essential. What we offer in return!
