The Team
The Technology and Transformation Team drives innovation, optimises our systems, and ensures everything runs smoothly across The IN Group. The team is split into five key areas:
* Infrastructure: Manages platform architecture, ensuring our tech ecosystem is running at its best.
* Information Security: Oversees ISO audits, security policies, and system protections.
* Service Delivery: Runs the Service Desk and supports users across the group.
* Product Development: Develops and optimises our product pipeline, working closely with brands to deliver improvements.
* Transformation & Change: Manages all group-wide tech transformations from planning to delivery, supported by project and programme managers.
Role Impact
As a Junior Project Manager (FTC – Maternity Cover), you’ll support the delivery of IT and business change projects across The IN Group. You’ll work closely with senior project managers and stakeholders, helping to plan, coordinate, and deliver initiatives that improve processes, optimise technology, and drive operational efficiency.
This role is a great opportunity for someone with early experience in project coordination or junior project management who’s looking to develop their skills further in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Project Delivery: Assist in managing project lifecycles, ensuring key tasks and milestones are delivered on time and within scope.
* Process Mapping & Improvement: Document and analyse current processes, supporting the identification of opportunities to improve efficiency.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work with colleagues across the business to gather requirements and provide project updates.
* Technology Support: Help coordinate the implementation of new systems and tools in line with business objectives.
* Risk & Issue Tracking: Monitor risks and issues, escalating to the Programme Manager where needed.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain project documentation, prepare updates, and contribute to post-project reviews.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination, junior project management, or a similar role (experience in recruitment or professional services is a plus).
* Basic knowledge of project management principles or methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, or similar).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning on the job.
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) is beneficial.
