We’re looking for a forward‑thinking LIMS Manager to take ownership of our laboratory systems and drive real impact across the business. This key role focuses on optimising the LIMS platform, improving workflows, and ensuring seamless, high‑quality data outputs that keep the lab running at its best. You’ll play a central part in shaping how the system evolves—bringing fresh ideas, enhancing performance, and supporting teams to work smarter, faster and more efficiently.
What you will do
* Be the go‑to link between the lab and LIMS developers (AIS), leading updates, upgrades and rollouts from idea through to smooth delivery.
* Turn lab feedback into action, driving system improvements, fixing issues and keeping everything moving forward.
* Own and shape the LIMS development roadmap with the Technical Director, turning new ideas into meaningful enhancements.
* Keep the LIMS running reliably, supporting the lab at every step.
* Partner with IT and the Technical Director to manage and evolve the AVD environment behind the scenes.
* Lead testing of new features, ensuring compliance, robustness and readiness for go‑live.
* Deliver clear, engaging training that empowers teams to wield the system’s full potential.
* Play a key role in rolling out LIMS to new areas of the business as the company grows.
* Provide on‑site support, troubleshoot issues and keep operations running smoothly when required.
Who you are
* Strong LIMS knowledge (bonus points for AIS experience) and comfort navigating lab environments, SQL and databases.
* Excellent Excel skills, able to handle data, spot trends and keep processes smooth.
* Proactive self‑starter who can work independently while thriving in a team.
* Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail; nothing slips past you.
* Natural communicator who explains complex concepts clearly and keeps everyone aligned.
* Positive, flexible and adaptable, rolling with change and staying involved where needed.
* Driven and accountable, taking ownership, showing initiative and delivering results even under pressure.
