Hybrid role role with 3 days based in a business location ( One of our two offices, or any of our stores of depot) 2 days working from home
At DFS, we know great furniture is only part of the story. We want to do business in a way thats better for people and the planet. Thats why were making big moves in sustainability, and were looking for a Project manager Coordinator to help us deliver on our environmental goals.
Youll work with teams across the business to bring our green initiatives to life. From cutting carbon to making our products more sustainable, this role puts you right at the heart of the action. Youll be managing multiple projects, keeping things on track and making sure everyone knows whats happening and when.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone whos passionate about sustainability, loves a well-structured plan, and isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
What you'll be doing
1. Supporting the delivery of key sustainability projects, from start to finish
2. Creating project plans, timelines, budgets and clear roles and responsibilities
3. Working with people from all parts of the business to make things happen
4. Tracking progress and reporting updates clearly and regularly
5. Keeping an eye on the bigger picture. Making sure we stay on course and avoid any project creep
6. Bringing ideas and enthusiasm to every stage of the journey
The role is for you if...
7. Minimum of 3 years experience
8. Youve got experience managing projects, ideally in a fast-paced setting like retail
9. You hold a relevant qualification, such as a business degree or project management certification
10. You love structure, planning and have a keen eye for detail
11. Youre a natural communicator who builds strong relationships across all levels
12. Youre passionate about sustainability and want to play an active role in making a difference
13. Youre self-motivated, full of initiative and comfortable working independently or with a team
