Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are recruiting for Operations Operatives, responsible for ensuring that the park’s public areas and facilities are cleaned and maintained to an exceptional standard.
The role of a Stores/Park Operations Operative involves receiving and delivering supplies to the park from our off-site storage, cleaning facilities, emptying waste bins, removing litter, stocking and maintaining facilities, and managing traffic flow in and out of the visitor car park. You may also coordinate pick-ups with the park's mini-bus driver, assist visitors, and support the park operations team with daily maintenance of public areas.
Who We Are Looking For
Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate must be able to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and hold a full valid driving licence (including grounds B, BE, B1, manual gearbox). Towing a trailer is desirable.
Contract Details
Positions are available on a full-time, part-time, permanent, and seasonal basis, with seasonal roles until 31 October 2025. Hours are allocated on a rota, including weekends. Pay rate is £10.18 for under 21s and £12.21 for over 21s. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Reliable transport is recommended due to our remote location.
