About the role
The University of Leicester is delivering an ambitious digital transformation programme to reshape how we support students, academics and professional services. We are seeking a Digital Process Automation Analyst to play a key role in designing and delivering modern, automated solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a Centre of Excellence and drive the adoption of low-code technologies to simplify processes, improve data quality, and enhance user experience across the University.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand and redesign business processes, translating requirements into scalable, user-focused digital solutions. You will combine strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with hands‑on experience of Microsoft technologies to deliver impactful automation and continuous improvement. Your tasks will include:
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyse process requirements.
* Designing and delivering automated solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform and low-code tools.
* Driving adoption of low-code technologies to simplify processes, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience.
* Providing expertise in process mapping, automation design, and solution integration.
* Promoting continuous improvement through automation best practices and user feedback.
About you
We are looking to recruit a small team including a Service Design Analyst, a Digital Solutions Designer and a Digital Process Automation Analyst to help drive forward operational efficiencies at the University, enabled by technology and establish the CoE.
You should be proactive, collaborative, and passionate about using technology to make a real difference in a complex organisational environment. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, a proactive approach, collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving processes through technology are essential.
