Hours: Minimum 40 hours over 5 days. Weekend working is essential

About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Butcher Assistant to join our team at Ward Field Farm Shop. You'll support our skilled butchers in preparing high-quality meat products, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in cutting, trimming, and packaging meat products
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment
* Stock and rotate products in display counters
* Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers
* Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
* Previous experience in food handling or retail preferred
* Basic knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and take direction
