Our New Product Development Team (NPD) collaborates cross-functionally across BEAUTY BAY to create and develop innovative and exciting own brand products. Responsibilities
* Manage cross-category projects from concept to launch, including maintaining the NPD pipeline.
* Prepare and present business cases aligned with commercial metrics through the stage gate process.
* Define success criteria for smooth transition from development to execution with other teams.
* Present trends, products, and ideas to stakeholders and the wider business.
* Coordinate with external suppliers, manufacturers, and labs, influencing decisions as needed.
* Ensure compliance, including proofreading artwork for technical standards.
* Inform and consult stakeholders during the product development process, including creating product documentation.
* Conduct industry research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking.
* Identify market gaps for new products and trends.
* Coordinate sample testing and gather feedback.
About you
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar NPD role.
* Strong knowledge of beauty product development, especially colour cosmetics.
* Experience working in deadline-driven environments, managing multiple tasks calmly.
* Understanding of industry standards, EU/US regulations, and claims substantiation.
* Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
* Analytical skills to define problems, gather data, and make recommendations.
* Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
* Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturers.
* Self-motivated, independent, and passionate about beauty and cosmetics.
