At Horsenden Primary School, we are looking for an exceptional EYFS practitioner to lead our Early Years phase for a fixed‑term maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom teacher who is ready to develop their leadership skills within a supportive and experienced leadership team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high‑performing Early Years team
* Be accountable for the quality of education, provision and outcomes across Nursery and Reception
* Drive high‑quality teaching, inclusive practice and strong pupil progress
* Use assessment effectively to identify priorities and improve outcomes
* Support and develop colleagues through coaching, collaboration and professional dialogue
* Work closely with senior leaders to contribute to whole‑school improvement

Qualifications
* Is an excellent EYFS practitioner with a proven impact on pupil outcomes
* Has the potential and ambition to lead and inspire others
* Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, assessment and child development

* Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider community
* Is organised, reflective and motivated to develop their leadership skills
