The ideal candidate would have:
* Fluent in English, ideally as a first language

* A fluent and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
* A safe, confident and willing driver, holding a full valid UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points
* At least 3 years’ experience of maintaining, fault-finding, modifying, extending and commissioning a wide variety of life safety systems types
* A good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
* A general interest in electrical / electronic engineering
* A desire to learn and develop new work skills, always aiming to perform at the highest levels, so that they may be considered for future promotion and career development.
Qualifications:
* FIA and / or IFEDA competency course passes in Fire Alarm Design,
* Previous detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant statutory requirements for working on life safety equipment, such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, voice alarms, fire extinguishers.
* Previous detailed knowledge, understanding and experience of working on life safety equipment manufactured by Gent, Advanced Electronics, Apollo, Hochiki, Kentec, Baldwin Boxhall, MultiIfax, Siemens, GFE, C-tec, Intak, Protec, Notifier, Morley IAS.
* Previous experience of writing any Word or Excel documents where high attention to detail and accuracy have been required
