We are pleased to have a fantastic opportunity available for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our successful Merchandising team at DCK in our Billericay office.
You will;
1. Support the Merchandising team with accurate, actionable analysis to drive profit across all channels
2. Report on department and category performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to improve trade
3. Produce and present weekly trade reports with key insights and recommended actions
4. Own trading for key categories, identifying repeat opportunities, promotions, and markdowns
5. Reforecast key lines regularly to ensure stock levels meet demand
6. Maintain and update the WSSI to reflect intake, sales, and markdowns in line with trade and promo plans
7. Track and review stock inventory, flagging risks and opportunities across all channels
8. Liaise with the DC to ensure stock availability meets trading needs
9. Work closely with Buying to oversee intake, allocations, and stock flow with MA support, ensuring timely execution
10. Support markdown and promo planning, ensuring accurate implementation and maintenance
11. Oversee the MA’s workload, setting clear objectives and offering regular feedback
12. Establishing and maintaining relationships across the business
13. Support ad-hoc analysis and departmental projects to drive growth and efficiency
14. Support the merchandiser in preparing information and strategies for internal & external meetings
