Are you a compassionate and experienced tutor with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable SEN Tutor to join our growing team in Cambridge.
About the Role:
As an SEN Tutor, you will work on a one-to-one or small group basis with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Sessions may take place in the pupil's home, in schools, or in community settings, depending on the student's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalised learning sessions tailored to individual EHCP or SEN Support plans
Support academic progress in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) and/or life skills
Foster students' confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain regular progress reports and communicate with parents, carers, and professionals
Manage challenging behaviours using positive reinforcement and trauma-informed approaches
